
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most notable role was that of Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) in which the actor received five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series and won in 1985. In the TV series Blue Bloods, Selleck has played Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner. Since 2005, he's been playing Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in small-town New York City. He has also played in nine television films which are based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also played the role as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
